I qualified as a Chartered Accountant at BDO in 1987, when it was still called Stoy Hayward & Co and auditing and accounting standards were few and far between. After spending six years there, I moved to a small firm for 4 years, before starting Cameron Baum in 1994.

I am a general practitioner, with deep and thorough understanding of both business and tax issues and I bring this experience to help my clients grow their own businesses in a tax efficient manner. In the current difficult economic climate, my experience also helps those clients who need to keep a tight rein on their business expenditure.

My two specialist areas are firstly Outsourced Company Director, in which I help businesses to manage themselves by implementing management accounts, cashflows, budgeting and internal reporting and secondly Credit Management, where I oversee a team that carries out credit checking on third party companies.

My hobbies include oil painting, gardening, spending time with my family and wandering around art galleries.
